Semana passada foi feriado por aqui e fizemos algumas “andanças”. A caminho de Osaka, paramos em Nara para visitar o templo Todai-ji, a maior construção em madeira do mundo e uma das grandes atrações do Japão. Mas a gente se divertiu mesmo foi no parque ao lado com os dóceis veadinhos que vinham comer na nossa mão. São mais de 1.200 veados considerados sagrados e que vivem soltos no parque.

Last week we went to Nara and visited Todai-ji Temple, the largest wooden building in the world and a very famous site in Japan. The temple is amazing but we really had fun with all the deers that live freely in Nara Park, next to Todai-ji Temple. There are over 1,200 deers! We could feed them with some deer-crackers that we purchased in the park.

Terceiro post da semana, acho que é um recorde! Nem é bom falar muito alto… :)

Tenho uma novidade, mas primeiro queria mostrar o alfabeto novo, School Days, que está na loja com 20% de desconto durante o fim de semana.

Finalmente uma novidade que tem um gostinho todo especial pra mim. Essa semana foram lançadas as minhas duas primeiras coleções de scrapbooking tradicional para a marca Fancy Pants Designs nos EUA. Isso mesmo, tradicional, nada de digital. :) Não é o máximo? Foi uma experiência incrível e ver o resultado no papel e nas prateleiras é (vai ser) uma delícia! Um agradecimento especial a amiga Nancie. Clique nas imagens para ver detalhes e confira também o vídeo mostrando um pouquinho das coleções Fancy Pants durante a convenção de lançamento em Orlando. ;)

I’m really excited to show you my two first paper collections for Fancy Pants Designs! Yes, PAPER collections, Designs by Lili IRL!! :) It was a fantastic experience and it’s so nice to see now the result. Special thanks to my friend Nancie. ;)

Eu estive testando algumas das minhas estampas em tecido pelo Spoonflower. Pra quem não conhece, é uma empresa americana que imprime tecidos sob encomenda através do site deles.

Eu resolvi testar e achei o resultado bem legal! Usei a estampa de um dos papéis do kit Capture The Moment com a Kate Hadfield. O outro são listras usando as cores do mesmo kit. Não ficou fofo? :) Eu ia colocar as estampas na loja, mas resolvi liberar como freebie pra quem quiser usar. O uso comercial do tecido pronto também está liberado. Legal pra quem faz artesanatos. Eu imagino esse tecido de câmeras em uma almofada ou em uma alça para câmera. Não ficaria lindo? E, claro, pra quem curte scrap tradicional (ou híbrido) também é uma super idéia.

Pra quem se interessar, pode encomendar aqui. As cores que aparecem no site deles não são as cores que serão impressas. A impressão vai parecer bem mais com as fotos. Mas como as cores do monitor nunca são fiéis, o melhor a fazer é pedir uma prova (swatch). Foi o que eu fiz. As provinhas tem um pouco mais de 20×20cm e custam 5 dólares.

I just got some of my patterns printed on fabric by Spoonflower. I was curious to see how it would look on fabric and the result is pretty cool. I used one of the patterns I did for the Capture The Moment collaboration with Kate Hadfield. Isn’t it cute? Perfect for a camera strap! The other one I did using the colors of the same kit.

If you like it, you can order the fabrics here. The commercial use of the printed fabric is ok! Note that the colors you see on the preview aren’t the colors that will be printed. The printed colors look more like the photos, but as the computer screens vary so much, you better order a swatch first. :) Enjoy!
